The Ecological Effectiveness of Nuclear Power in a Dual-Component Scheme of Using Thermal and Fast Reactors

Abstract
The author considers the nuclear industry in the context of its environmental implications. The articles presents comparison of closed and open nuclear cycles and proposes implementation of the dual-component scheme in nuclear power as a principle basic system.
