The Influence of the US Construction and the Industry Safety Standards in South Korea, India, and Saudi Arabia
Abstract
In this paper, the focus has been on the construction and other industries of India, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia with regards to their occupational safety standards. The literature has been reviewed to analyze that what is lacking in developing world in terms of their occupational safety, and what factors leads to these limitations. Then paper would describe that what occupational safety and health standards have been adopted by the U.S industry and how U.S can lead the world in this regard. The analysis would be made to see that what role OSHA can play in countries like India, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia. Then each country’s own safety standards would be reviewed to see that what influence United States has made on the safety practices of these countries.
