Economic Analysis of Installation Solar Cell in Toll Road of Probolinggo-Banyuwangi: Comparative Study
Abstract
Installation of solar energy application in Indonesia is a right decision since Indonesia is a tropical country. Of course ,the use of electrical energy from solar in the future will be a great demand in Indonesia due to increasing of electricity needs. One of the applications of electrical energy from solar energy is solar cell in toll road. In this research, the planning of solar cell will be installed along 60 km in toll road of Probolinggo-Banyuwangi, East Java, Indonesia. This research aims to conduct economic analysis of installation electrical energy of solar cell in toll road of Probolinggo-Banyuwangi using three methods; by purchasing the components of solar cell separately, one package-solar cell street light, and integrated all in one solar cell. The results of analysis technique for toll roadProbolinggo- Banyuwangi along 60 km required 1500 pillarwith spacing 40 m. From economic analysis, total cost for installation by purchasing the components of solar cell separately is IDR 16,680,000,000, with the cost per pillar isIDR 11,120,000. Then, total cost for installation by using one package-solar cell street light is IDR 37,795,174,500,with the cost per pillar is IDR 25,196,783. And the last, total cost for the installation of integrated all in one solar cell is IDR 11,383,425,000, with the cost per pillar is IDR 7,588,950. From those methods, installation with integrated all in one solar cell is the best method in toll road ofProbolinggo-Banyuwangi.
