A Survey Of Video Tracking Algorithms With Different Implementations: A Comparative Approach
Todays security requirements make video surveillance an absolute imperative in almost all important companies and administrations over the world. Objects and individuals tracking one of the most challenging problems in most modern surveillance system, thus many approaches and algorithms are specially proposed, in the literature, for this issue. These algorithms give different performances depending on the context of their use. In addition, the choice of software or hardware implementation has a significant influence on the accuracy, performances and complexity of the overall system. In order to make easier for designers to make the best choices and decisions to build efficient video tracking systems, we give in this paper a survey of the most significants algorithms and possible implementations.
