The Prime Minister of Iraq Dr. Haider al-abadi, political semantic discourse analysis, & communication methods
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to interpret the local presidential speeches of Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi in order to identify the factors that influence his discourse semantic peculiarities and language during ‘Political communication theory’ within his roles as Prime Minister. In addition, to identify his persuasive communication methodsthat he used. It is hoped that the conclusion drawn from this research project will provide a way of speaking in public understanding of the relationship between events, political discourse, and perceptions of the prime minister based on his discourse. Identifying the correlative factors will help better understand the impact of language on politics as well as the relationship between language on and how presidential power may be perceived by the Iraqi public.
