Agile Risk Management

Abstract
Projects play a critical role in the success of today’s organizations. Traditionally projects were managed using the waterfall project methodology. Since the advent of the Agile Manifesto, there has been a steady but definite shift towards the agile way of working. An iterative, change-driven approach to project delivery is sweeping across organizations and revolutionizing how they approach new opportunities. One of the fundamental elements of an organization’s very existence is their ability to manage risk, particularly in a project environment, where change is ever present. This article will look at what risk management entails and whether it needs to evolve when working within an agile project delivery framework.
