Paper Title
Removal Of Co2 From Co2/N2 Mixture By Using Micro-Nano Bubble Reactor
Abstract
This work focused on the separation of carbon dioxide-nitrogen gas using physical absorption in a micro-nano bubble column to improve the quality of gas, prevent corrosion and emission problem. The new micro-nano bubble column was designed and used for the process of CO2/N2 absorption. Micro-nano bubbles were generated by a developing nozzle using swirling flow method as an alternative approach for CO2 removal. The inlet CO2 concentration was varied from 5 up to 20%. It was found that the outlet CO2 concentration was increased with the increasing of the inlet CO2 concentration. The outlet CO2 concentration of 20, 10 and 5% of inlet CO2 concentration in were detected of 4, 3 and 2.7%, respectively. After the operation time of 30 minutes, the dissolved CO2 concentration was constant due to the absorption system became steady state. The constant dissolved CO2 concentration of 20, 10 and 5% CO2 concentration in inlet gas were 10.944, 4.918 and 1.491 mg/L, respectively.
