Paper Title
Applying Morphological analysis and Shape Transformation Rules To Construct Interactive Visual Program As Conceptual Modeling Tools for Design Students

Abstract
This research presents a Cooperative Generative Design Process (CGDP) that combines shape analysis methods of morphology form designers and shape transformation rules from design students.According to the organized shaping techniques and the shape transformation rules, the generative designer utilizes interactive visual program to construct Cooperative Generative Design Models (CGDM) for each conceptual shape. The evaluation experiment was heldto displayhow easy the other four students generate one hundred distinctive shapes throughfive CGDMs in a few hours. Interviews with participants and original designers were executed to evaluate the practicability of CGDP and the usability of CGDM. The results demonstrate that participants are satisfied with CGDM, and original designers require more assistance through CGDM in early concept phase. Further research in more kinds of product in CGDP is suggested. Keywords - Product Design, Shape Analysis, Morphological Analysis, Shape Transformation, Visual Program
