A Hand-On Activityon Chemical Equilibrium For High School Students
Abstract
A hand-on activity is proposed for the teaching of chemical equilibrium. This activity provides a simulation that
use building-block to help students visualize a dynamic chemical equilibrium at microscopic level. We performed a hand-on
activity on 30 students in grade 11 in the second semester of academic year 2016. The result illustrated that the students
become more understand the dynamic nature of equilibrium. Moreover, the satisfaction indicatedthe students have a good
satisfaction about this activity.
