Health Promotion of The Elderly People by Applying Thai Traditional Medicine With Thai Dancing Arts at Baan Nam Chieo Community, Laem Ngob, Trat Province

Abstract
This research paper was aimed to promote the elderly people�s health by using Thai dancing arts and to study the guideline of applying Thai dancing arts with Thai traditional medicine for the health promotion of the elderly people at the age of 60 and above by using 5 dancing arts; Ta Ram Sai, Ta Prom Si Na, Ta Yoong Fon Hang, Ta Chang Pra San Nga, and Ta Chan Song Glod Plaeng. Testing the differentiation of Pre-Training and Post-Training�s average value of 25 persons who attended to the exercise program with Thai dancing arts, and this sample group was chosen by the simple random sampling method. The experimental period was 30 minutes a day, 3 days a week, for 8 weeks and totally 24 times. The data was compiled using the exercise program with Thai dancing arts and Paired Samples T-Test. The findings revealed that after the elderly people was trained by the exercise program with 5 dancing arts from Fine Arts Department; Ta Ram Sai, Ta Prom Si Na, Ta Yoong Fon Hang, Ta Chang Pra San Nga, and Ta Chan Song Glod Plaeng for 30 minutes, the muscular strength of Biceps brachii, Triceps brachii, Flexor group of wrist, Extensor group of wrist, Quadriceps femoris and Hamstring, both of left and right sides, Pre-Training and Post-Training had the differentiation with 0.01 level of significance. In addition, the Sen Pra Tan Sip Theory in Thai traditional medicine, 4 of them related to those 5 Thai dancing arts; Sen Ei Ta, Sen Ping Kla, Sen Sum Ma Na and Sen Garn Ta Ree.
