Conceptualizing Smart Tourism of Japan: A Case Study of Smart Tourism Design on China and Thailand
In 2008,IBM brought the concept of Smarter Planet to the world. And from that timethe word SMARTis used widely especially related to the field of ICT. Smart Tourismis from Smart City. Because of different countries different cultures, there is no definition on it. But the main features are common such like using sensors, big data, IoT, cloud, internet,etc. In Japan there is also no definition on Smart Tourism. From the unique perspective of Japan Tourism Industry,the paper brought out the concept of Smart Tourism of Japan and by analyzing the survey of China and Thailand, and got the needs of foreigners and the proposal on high added value Smart Tourism of Japan can be given.
