Factors Affecting Women Leadership in Academia
Abstract
The qualities that are required to lead in the 21st century in women are their ability to connect, collaborate, empathize, and communicate better. Women�s leadership style with emphases on encouragement and motivation of students is more than important in today�s world, especially in academia. It has been empirically proven that women leadership in institutions reflects better decisions that deliver better results through hardworking, improving Nation�s Education, Fair Supervision, Building relationship between employees, and work fast for the welfare of organization. Literature review has been conducted and data collection involves online survey questionnaire available at GSS (General Social Survey 2014), (http://gss.norc.org ) and ZOTERO was used for referencing.Afterwards, SPSS had been used and Correlation, Regression has been run to find out the impact.The study will also cover all relevant aspects which are likely to play their roles in enriching and strengthening the Quality Culture. Correlation gives the significant result under the parameters of Hard work, Improving Nation�s Education, Fair Supervision, Building relationship between employees, and Leadership. The research is conducted under limited time with limited number of articles for literature review. Due to summer holidays data collection could not be done from academic institutions. So, GSS data has been used instead.
