A 3-Step Access and Control Methodology Based on Virtual Object For Iot Device Management

Internet of Things (IoT) is getting popular day by day. It is considered as a future disruptive technology that will extend the existing Internet by integrating small communicating devices attached to daily life objects and equipment. Remote access to these connected devices will improve monitoring and control procedure and thus help in building a smart environment everywhere. In this paper, we propose a three-step methodology for performing access and control operation over IoT device (a) device virtualization (b) importing virtual object information to management application and (c) finally allowing the user to perform interactive operation on selected device. Using this methodology, we can easily register an IoT device to perform supported operations in a systematic way.
