Tourism sector which has increasing contribution to economies, also provide an important Socio-cultural and environmental income for rapidly developing countries such as Turkey. While the real and financial effects are indispensable for these economies, it is important to determine the factors affect number of tourists directly and total tourism income indirectly. When we take the share of the sector in total economy into account identification of these factors is not important for only tourism sector but also for macroeconomic stability. However, increasing economic activities may cause environmental pollution and it is thought that environmental pollution or risk affects sustainable economic growth negatively. The aim of this study is to determine relation between tourism income, tourist number and environmental pollution for Turkey which have the sixth highest number of tourist. We obtain the data belonging to variables from World Bank between years 1960 and 2015. In the study, we employ unit root, Granger causality and co-integration tests.
