An Overview: Fuzzy Logic Applications on Washing Machine

Abstract
This paper is an introduction to fuzzy set theory. It tries to explain the emergence of fuzzy set from a historical perspective and scan the basic definitions in the field that are required for proper understanding of the generally abstract notion of fuzzy sets. Furthermore, the paper explained the extension of fuzzy sets to fuzzy logic theory and provides counterparts of various set-theoretic notions such as equality, union, intersection and complementation in fuzzy set theory. It observed that some properties of classical logic are contradicted in fuzzy logic. The basic mathematical framework of fuzzy set theory is explicated and the most important current applications of fuzzy logic are highlighted.
