Analysis of Local Community Attitudes Toward Tourist Arrivals in Natural and Cultural Tourism Wangi-Wangi Island

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analysis the of local community attitudes towards the tourist arrival to Mountains, Maritime Travel and Cultural Tourism at Wangi-Wangi Island, Wakatobi District. The design of this research was descriptive qualitative. The population of this study was local community in Wangi-Wangi Island, Wakatobi. Sampling Technique used non-random sampling. The number of samples is determined as many as 100 peoples. Data collection in this study used questionnaires, interviews and documentation, while data analysis used descriptive analysis. The results of this study showed that: (1) basically society's view of tourist arrivals in Wangi-Wangi island Wakatobi is positive. They always appreciate every domestic and foreign tourist, as long as unobtrusive and respectful of the culture and customs of the local community, (2) attitudes towards the arrival of tourists in Wakatobi are also positive. Where do people consider the arrival of tourists in the tourist objects in Wakatobi today contras form the lives of people, especially in areas where the attraction, because the economy has increased the quality of their lives.
