Moderating Effects Of Propensity To Connect With Others On The Relationship Between Friendship Networks And Nurses' Job Satisfaction
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to replicate and extend previous research by examining the moderating effects of propensity to connect with others on the relationship between friendship networks and job satisfaction in the department of nursing. Hierarchical multiple regression was used to examine direct and moderating effects of these variables. The result showed that propensity to connect with others had moderating effect on the relationship between friendship network and two dimensions of job satisfaction. The findings have important implications for theory and practice.
