Paper Title
Differences in Pro-Environmental Lifestyle And Environmental Protection Behavior By The Characteristics Of Female College Students in Korea

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the level of pro-environmental lifestyle and environment protection behavior and to identify the differences in those variables according to the characteristics of Korean female college students. A survey was done by convenience sampling of 370 students in urban and rural areas. There were significant differences in pro-environmental lifestyle by the college year (F=2.98, p=.031), participation in pro-environmental activity (t=3.12, p=.002), and peer advice for participation in pro-environmental activity (t=2.26, p=.024). In addition, environment protection behavior also differed by the experience of environmental education (t=2.40, p=.017), participation in pro-environmental activity (t=4.16, p<.001), and peer advice participation in pro-environmental activity (t=2.59, p=010). Both previous experiences in pro-environmental activity and peer advice to involve in pro-environmental activity were related to the level of pro-environmental lifestyle and environment protection behavior, showing that providing opportunities to learn activities in the field could lead the young women to reinforce a way of pro-environmental life. Keywords- women, pro-environmental, lifestyle, behaviors.
