Cytotoxicity Effects of Nanonaringin on Nalm6 Cell Line

Abstract
Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia(ALL) a malignant disorder with T or B is the source of lymphocyte precursors. The disease is more prevalent in children but it can occur at any age. The identification of new cytotoxic drug with low sid effects on immune system has developed as important area in new studies of immunopharmacology.Naringinis a natural flavonoids in citrus fruits such with anti-oxidative and anti-cancer properties. Its therapeutic potential is substantially hindered by the rather low water solubility and bioavailability, hence the need for suitable carriers. In this report we employed nanogel-based nanoparticle approach to improve upon its effectiveness.Myristic acid-chitosan (nanogels were prepared by the technique of self-assembly. Naringinwas loaded into the nanogels. Cytotoxicity and viability of nanonaringin were assessed by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) and dye exclusion assay. Proliferation of nalm6 cells was significantly inhibited by nanonaringin in a concentration-dependent manner in defined times..The high drug-targeting potential and efficiency demonstrates the significant role of the anticancer properties of Naringin -loaded nanoparticles.
