Internet of Things (IoT) Uthentication

Abstract
Internet of Things (IoT) is the self-configuring network of everyday life objects which can communicate with each other. Implementation of this kind of huge and complex networks is difficult to manage and having such a structure makes it vulnerable to attacks. Five major security issues in IoT are Authentication, Confidentiality, Integrity, Authorization and Freshness. This paper focus on Authentication issue whichis a process of verifying device credentials to join IoT network. This paper reveals that authentication schemes which are designed for IoT should meet some requirements. Zhao et.al.presented an authentication scheme based on feature extraction,secure hash algorithm and elliptic curve cryptography (ECC). This proposed scheme is evaluated according to mentioned authentication requirements. Keywords� Authentication scheme, Internet of Things, security on IoT
