USE OF EMINUS 4 FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF LANGUAGE SKILLS IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Abstract
In some cases, the in-class practice for developing language skills in a specific language, in this particular case English, is not sufficient due to various factors. This highlights the need for a space where students can practice as an extracurricular activity. The present study aims to demonstrate that through the use of the Universidad Veracruzana's Educational Platform, EMINUS 4, students can develop English language skills. Problem: The goal is to evaluate the use of the EMINUS 4 Educational Platform at the Universidad Veracruzana as a tool to support the development of English language skills. Methods: Thisstudy is quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental, and cross-sectional. Its design is non-experimental. Results: The results obtained from the activities submitted on the platform, the data on the percentage of access to it, the results obtained through the instrument used to collect information on students' satisfaction with the use of the EMINUS 4 platform, as well as the final grade averages, showed a certain level of development in students' linguistic skills. Conclusion: The results in the final grades show that the Educational Platform of the Universidad Veracruzana: EMINUS 4, is a tool that facilitates the teaching and learning process and contributes to the development of English language skills by providing students with a collaborative space that favors the management, integration, and publication of educational content in multiple formats.
