Paper Title
Sustainable Aviation Fuel-A review

Abstract
As global attempts to reduce CO2 and GHG emissions continue, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is one alternative to reduce emissions from aviation transportation and is anticipated to make a significant impact on decarbonizing the aviation industry. There are several non-fossil feed stocks and routes to produce SAF and standards such as Hydro processed ester and fatty acid (HEFA), Alcohol to Jet (ATJ), Fisher Tropsch(FT) and Power to X (PtX). This review reports on current SAF production use and plans in a number of countries. The study found that there is significant global policy and planning to grow the use of SAF (for example the IATA roadmap) and several regions and countries are looking to develop significant SAF production. However, SAF is currently expensive compared with conventional jet fuel, so incentives are needed to support policy, investment, and use.
