Linguistic Choices From A ‘Non-Immigrant’ Perspective

Abstract
- This paper presents some linguistic choices that I make both consciously or unconsciously. By the end of this reflective article I will have hopefully explained my thoughts about where, when and with whom I change my language, and speech style. Besides, I’m also hoping to discuss these changes by evaluating most of the parameters of geography, socio-economic status, gender, education, politics, identity, and intimacy.
