Paper Title
Digital Tools Supporting Preconception Care For Children and Students In Japan

Abstract
With the progression of Japan’s low birthrate and increasing pregnancy and childbirth risks due to lifestyle factors such as underweight, obesity, and smoking, the dissemination of preconception care has become essential. In response, medical and educational experts have collaborated to develop a digital tool for preconception care. In medical settings, there is a high demand for consultations regarding menstruation and HPV vaccination. However, in public education, the content of sexuality education is largely influenced by the "restraining provision," focusing primarily on contraception and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) to prevent unintended pregnancies among young people. Consequently, essential topics such as romantic relationships and human rights remain insufficiently covered. A digital tool for preconception care, designed to be systematically integrated into each life stage of young individuals, could be effective in implementing comprehensive sexuality education in Japan.
