Paper Title
Experimental Comparison of Emissions released From Combustion of Pure Diesel and a Blend of Diesel + 5% Plastic Distilled oil at Atmospheric Conditions of Bogota City.

Abstract
This research arose in response to growing concern about environmental pollution generated by plastic waste and the need to find more sustainable and efficient energy sources to replace fossil fuels. The goal was to analyze experimentally the performance of blend of plastic pyrolys is of plastic (PPO) and diesel tested in a monocylinder diesel engine. To achieve this objective, an experimental methodology was employed. Firstly, the characterization of fuels obtained was carried out by using instrumental techniques. Subsequently, its performance was carried out using a reciprocating engine under different operation conditions to assess their performance in terms of emissions without load conditions at atmospheric conditions in Bogota, Colombia (2600 m.a.s.l). This project demonstrates the energy potential of fuels distilled from plastic pyrolysis, evidencing their viability as an alternative to fossil fuels. As a result, it gradually contributed to the reduction of polluting emissions. In this sense, obtained product might compete against conventional fuels because its derived from abundant raw materials and it is easy to transform to fuel obtention. Therefore, a reduce of its demand, reduces the environmental impact of human activities. Keywords - Alternative Fuels, Monocylinder Diesel Engine, Plastic Pyrolysis Oil (PPO).
