Paper Title
A BRIEF EXPLORATION OF THE EVOLUTION AND DYNAMICS OF BANK STABILITY RESEARCH

Abstract
This study explored the evolution and dynamics of bank stability. Specifically, it examines the key characteristics of previous bank stability research, thereby developing a framework to guide future research. The literature on bank stability was analyzed using biblio graphic mapping, relevant visualization software, and content analysis techniques. The evolution and dynamics of the bank stability literature were noted to have been significantly molded by the critical economic downturn. Next, the research concentration is notably centered on four observable key themes that emerged from the content analysis, including the central bank’s roles in devising appropriate monetary policy, banks’ strategic actions (competition, diversification) to ensure stability, bank risks, and environmental issues. The knowledge structure of bank stability is summarized and presented, framing a future research roadmap. However, the use of a single database potentially limits literature coverage.
