"Education 5.0 Readiness: Impact of Skills, Infrastructure, and Digital Connectivity as Mediator"
Abstract
This study examines the readiness of Malaysia's Private Higher Education Institutions (MPHEIs) to implement Education 5.0, a revolutionary strategy that emphasizes technology integration, innovative pedagogy, and real-world learning experiences. The research, guided by frameworks such as the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), investigates crucial elements such as faculty readiness, infrastructure sufficiency, and digital transformation as a mediating variable. The findings aim to uncover technological adoption gaps, improve faculty competencies, and address digital disparities, while also providing policymakers and educators with practical insights. Finally, this study aims to help Malaysia's higher education sector achieve its vision of fostering innovation, equity, and student-centered learning through Education 5.0.
