Abstract
This research aimed to assess perceived organizational support, work engagement, and job satisfaction levels among personnel at Regional Excise Office 4 and examine their influence on job satisfaction. A sample of 254 from a population of 748 was determined using Krejcie and Morgan's (1970) formula, with probability and simple random sampling. Data were collected via a questionnaire with Cronbach's alpha reliability scores of 0.92, 0.82, and 0.91 for perceived organizational support, work engagement, and job satisfaction, respectively. Using a 5-point Likert scale, descriptive statistics and regression analysis were applied. The mean scores for perceived organizational support, work engagement, and job satisfaction were 4.21, 4.29, and 4.15, respectively. Regression results showed that perceived organizational support explained 55% and work engagement explained 53% of job satisfaction, with standardized coefficients (β) of 0.74 each. Combined, they explained 63% of job satisfaction, with standardized coefficients (β) of 0.44 each.
