The Influence of Quality of Work Life on Organizational Commitment: A Case Study of Permanent Employees and Contract Employees of company Mueang Chiang Rai District, Chiang Rai Province

Abstract
The overall objectives of the current study were to study the extent to which quality of work life affects organizational commitment case study employees of company. 108 responded on permanent employees and 102 responded on contract employees of company Mueang Chiang Rai District, Chiang Rai Province a five-rating scale questionnaire of Likert’s type, of which the data was analyzed for descriptive statistics. Pearson’s correlation and multiple regression analysis were employed in the process of hypothesis testing with the significant level set at 0.05. The results showed that quality of work life namely development of human capacities, the total life space, and social relevance have a significant and positive effect on A strong belief in and acceptance of the organization’s goals and value. However, safe and healthy environment, development of human capacities, social integration, and social relevance have a significant and positive effect on a willingness to exert considerable effort on behalf of the organization. Finally, adequate and fair compensation, safe and healthy environment, and the total life space have a significant and positive effect on a strong desire to maintain membership in the organization.
