The Effects of Human Resource Management on Employee Engagement: A Case Study of HUA Yi Company Limited, Chonburi Province
Abstract
This study aimed to examine the influence of Human Resource Management factors on employee engagement, and to develop a prediction model for engagement at Hau Yi Company Limited, Chonburi. The population consisted of 198 employees, with a sample of 144 surveyed using a questionnaire. Statistical methods included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s correlation, and multiple regression analysis. Results showed that both HRM (mean = 3.31, SD = 0.39) and engagement (mean = 3.33, SD = 0.40) were rated at a moderate level. HRM was found to have a significant positive correlation with engagement (r = 0.787, p < .01). Key predictors of engagement included training and development, health and safety, evaluation, work performance, and welfare, highlighting the critical role of HRM practices in enhancing factory engagement.
