Paper Title
Evaluation of Tween 80 as Surfactant for Oil-Contaminated Soil Remediation in Arctic and Subarctic Conditions

Abstract
The most pressing issue currently is that of soil pollution. Oil hydrocarbons, heavy metals, phenols and other such substances are amongst the most environmentally hazardous. This issue is of particular concern in the territory of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, where oil and gas development over a period exceeding 50 years has resulted in a significant accumulation of natural objects subject to oil pollution. The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of employing Tween 80 in the remediation of oil-contaminated soils within the specified territory. Tween 80 enhances the water solubility of oil products derived from contaminated soils, operating within a temperature range of 2 to 24 °C.
