Paper Title
IMPROVING INVENTORY MANAGEMENT IN THE DEAN'S OFFICE USING ABC ANALYSIS

Abstract
This study aims to improve inventory management and reduce material shortages in the Dean's Office, Institute of Engineering, Suranaree University of Technology, by utilizing ABC Analysis based on historical product usage data from the past year.It was found that there were 109 products, classified into Category A (1.8% of total items, accounting for 70.0% of total value), Category B (15.6%, 20.0% of total value), and Category C (82.6%, 10.0% of total value). Inventory within Group A requires close monitoring to prevent losses or shortages that may impede operational efficiency. Conversely, Group C, despite comprising a significant portion of the inventory, has a lower overall value. Therefore, efforts should be directed towards optimizing storage space and considering the phase-out of products with minimal or no long-term demand to minimize storage and holding costs Keywords - ABC Analysis, Inventory Management, Inventory, Office Inventory
