POST-QUANTUM CRYPTOGRAPHY (PQC): A NEW DAWN FOR SECURE COMMUNICATION

Abstract
This paper will explore various cryptographic advancements and the significance of post quantum cryptography (PQC), an advanced lattice-based post-quantum cryptography scheme capable of protecting against attack by quantum computers. The current traditional cryptographic methods such as RSA (Rivest-Shamir-Adleman) and ECC (Elliptic Curve Cryptography) will likely face potential vulnerabilities due to the efficiency of quantum algorithms. This paper covers the vulnerabilities caused by brute, force attacks, and side channel attacks. These attacks threaten traditional, cryptographic, implementation, architecture, and infrastructure. This analysis studies the challenges faced by traditional cryptographic algorithms such as RSA, ECC, and other asymmetric key systems. Keywords - Kyber-Crystals, post-quantum cryptography, lattice-based cryptography, quantum resistance, cryptographic security, brute force attacks, side channel attacks
