DEVICE AUTHENTICATION IN BLOCKCHAIN NETWORK USING ATTRIBUTE-BASED ENCRYPTION

Abstract
In contemporary networks, such as those in business, healthcare, smart cities, and smart homes, device authentication has become a critical concern. Malicious actors employ various methods to infiltrate systems and compromise or alter data. The proposed approach presents a novel method for enhancing network security. This study demonstrates the application of Blockchain Technology in managing device credentials. Additionally, it elucidates the Authentication Process for generating Blocks for specific devices. This research implements Attribute-Based Encryption and deploys an Access Control Policy in a network integrated with Blockchain to augment the security of the authentication process.
