Direct Displacement-Based Design Method for Inter-Story Isolation System
Abstract
The inter-story isolation system seismic design method based on displacement directly is put forward. The multi - degree - of - freedom system is transformed into an equivalent two - degree - of - freedom model and an equivalent single - degree - of - freedom system (ESDOF) by two transformations. Established Double degree of freedom inter-story isolation model displacement ratio model, and derived the inter-story Isolation System of lateral force distribution pattern and inter-story Isolation structure equivalent single degree of freedom system (ESDOF) of equivalent damping ratio, equivalent stiffness and other important parameters. Draw the design Flow of Direct displacement-based seismic design method (DDBD) for inter-story Isolation System. With the seismic isolation project of a high intensity area as an example proceed the Seismic Design of inter-story Isolation System based on displacement, at the same time, carried out the time - history analysis of the structure which indicates that the method is not only simple and effective but also meets the engineering design requirements and can be used to design the performance of the inter-story Isolation System.
