Paper Title
TEACHER-ASSISTED DEVELOPMENT OF INTRINSIC MOTIVATION IN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
Abstract
As schools and universities expand curricula into multifaceted disciplines, teachers must continuously adapt their approaches to engage students meaningfully. This dynamic often results in diminished motivation among learners, leading to superficial engagement with content. To counter this trend, the paper proposes a framework that emphasizes the development of intrinsic motivation by fostering understanding of theoretical concepts, evaluation criteria, and practical applicability of knowledge. The paper explores various teaching methodologies—including technology-based, narrative, and dialogic approaches—that can enhance student motivation and self-efficacy by empowering them to take ownership of their learning process.
