DEVELOPMENT OF THE ENCUSARIO SELF-ISOLATION MODEL IN THE NAPAN TRIBE COMMUNITY IN PREVENTING LEPROSY IN NABIRE DISTRICT, CENTRAL PAPUA.

Abstract
Leprosy is still a public health problem in Central Papua Regency. There is still a lot that is not known about leprosy, including the mechanism of transmission, risk factors and the best way to control this disease.Leprosy has a significant social impact on people affected by this disease. Stigma and discrimination can lead to social isolation. Depression and anxiety. Leprosy is related to contemporary issues such as poverty, inequality, and discrimination. Tribal communities can have a unique culture, namely a special culture of isolation carried out by established tribal communities. They also use spices and speak regional languages to ward off evil spirits which are considered to be the cause of disease. This tradition is carried out by separating leprosy sufferers from the general public. Self-isolation and I Surya have several advantages in preventing leprosy, firstly, self-isolation can prevent transmission of leprosy to general public sufferers, secondly, self-isolation can provide an opportunity for leprosy sufferers to receive intensive treatment. It is necessary to develop self-isolation for solar children that is more friendly and dignified for leprosy sufferers. The self-isolation that is developed must be able to prevent the transmission of leprosy but also not cause stigma and discrimination against leprosy sufferers.
