SCHIZOPHRENIA CAREGIVERS STRESS - ABIBLIOMETRIC REVIEW FROM 1985 - 2024
Abstract
Caregiver stress is a condition experienced by caregivers with changes occurring both physically, physiologically, psychologically and behaviourally experienced by caregivers. Caregivershas an obligation to provide continuous and long-term care related to monitoring medication taking, empowering sufferers and supporting sufferers.
The increasing rate of schizophrenia relapse has motivated researchers and academics to continue to innovate and develop interventions for schizophrenia caregiversstress. This bibliometric study aims to analyze the publication trend of schizophrenia caregivers stress based on publications from 1985 to 2024, analyze the contribution of international collaboration of different journals, highlight the most influential authors and articles, and predict the future development of this topic.
The study included 516 articles obtained from the Scopus database, Vos viewers software and Tableau analysis
We found that the use of schizophrenia relapse prevention has increased significantly in the last three decades, but with fluctuations and still increasing within ten years (24 - 48 publications). This indicates that this topic is still of interest. In terms of the largest contributions, the United Stated produced the highest number of publications on related topics. Frequently used keywords included "Stress AND Caregivers AND " Schizophrenia ". These results serve as an important reference for determining the current state of the art and future research directions.
