THE EFFECTIVENESS OF DHIKR HYPNOTHERAPY INTERVENTIONS IN REDUCING ANXIETY IN BREASTFEEDING MOTHERS: A BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS

Abstract
Abstract:- Objectives - A mother's psychological and emotional state significantly affects breastfeeding, with anxious mothers producing less milk and potentially developing postpartum depression. Hypnobreastfeeding, a relaxation technique, can help reduce postpartum anxiety and build intention and motivation to breastfeed, thus preventing worse outcomes for both mother and baby. The purpose of this literature review is to analyze the effectiveness of dhikr hypnotherapy intervention in reducing anxiety in breastfeeding mothers through bibliometric analysis. Methods - Using the Scopus database analyzed using bibliometric analysis (open refine and VOS viewer (v.1.6.16) with the keywords "Anxiety" AND "Breastfeeding Mother OR Postpartum Mother" AND "Intervention". A total of 1,441 articles between 2014-2024 were identified on March 14, 2024. Results - Psychological changes in postpartum women such as anxiety affect breastfeeding, have shorter breastfeeding duration and tend to stop breastfeeding early. Hypnobreastfeeding was found to be more effective than music therapy in increasing milk production and reducing anxiety in postpartum mothers. Dhikr as a form of spiritual and religious intervention in Islam is able to calm and reduce anxiety. Conclusions - More intensive support for breastfeeding mothers in the form of programs that integrate relaxation techniques such as hypnobreastfeeding with a psychoreligious approach through dhikr can be an effective intervention to reduce the anxiety of postpartum women. Combining hypnobreastfeeding with dhikr relaxation can provide more optimal results in reducing anxiety and increasing milk production.
