Paper Title
BLOCKCHAIN-ENABLED SOLUTION FOR CYBERSECURITY: A NEW PARADIGM FOR THREAT DETECTION AND PREVENTION

Abstract
Modern-day cybersecurity threats are, however, more complex and decentralized, and standard protection techniques for identifying risks and responses are frequently inadequate. Blockchain technology, which is intrinsically decentralised, transparent, and immutable has become a popular paradigm to advance cybersecurity. The purpose of this work is to explore how the application of blockchain can guarantee the cybersecurity measures and methods in threat identification, data protection, secure communication and trust management in networks. In this paper, using the systematic literature review, case studies, and experiments, we investigate the potential of incorporating blockchain technologies in enhancing current cybersecurity paradigms. The results highlight how blockchain optimally addresses the problem of decentralizing security protocols and risks, minimizing possible single points of failure, and providing the necessary infrastructure for near-real-time threat intelligence sharing. This research also reviews some of the challenges and future prospects of making blockchain based cybersecurity solutions scalable. In its capacity as a novel approach for protecting data and deterring cyber criminality, blockchain has the potential to finally address compounding threats and ill-prepared defences for organizations and critical sectors.
