Paper Title
DISASTER RECOVERY WITH PUBLIC CLOUD AND MATHEMATICAL MODELS
Abstract
Various factors influence the risk involved in enterprise information systems. This paper aims to develop a mathematical model for disaster recovery planning. This model can be used as a risk mitigation and disaster recovery decision support design. The model simulates various information systems disaster recovery elements, including facilities, budget, resource allocation, applications, etc. The model prioritizes various elements based on their importance and utilization. Relationships between the applications, resources, and facilities are considered to select the most suitable plan. Using this method, the disaster recovery team can evaluate their disaster recovery plans objectively and qualitatively.
