A NOVEL APPROACH TOWARD SPONGE IRON SAMPLE TRANSITION: MAKING USE OF UAV IN THE STEEL MAKING INDUSTRY

Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to expand the capabilities of Unmanned Aerial vehicles (UAV), by presenting a novel approach for carrying specific amount of sponge iron samples by taking advantage of UAV. The process of steel making has been explored exhaustively and can be controlled very well in today’s steel plants. One of these parameters is quality, specifically the quality of sponge iron as a raw material for steel making. This research work provides detailed description of UAV application in transition of sponge iron samples. Different approach and suggestions have been made in this article in order to prepare a novel infrastructure into using UAVs in steel making industry. Numerous works have been done to increase the application of conventional UAVs, but not very much work has been done in increasing the usage of UAVs in the steel industry.
