ASSESSMENT OF MANAGEMENT FACTORS MITIGATING EMPLOYEE’S PERFORMANCE IN SELECTED FAITH-BASED ORGANIZATIONS IN KENYA

Abstract
Organizations, whether in profit or not-for-profit exist to reach their goals and objective with the use of various resource that contribute to make a difference in the organization. The greatest asset available to the organisation is people. Obviously, the organization is people. Employees are the only asset that can actively work for or against the organization's set goals. This fact has been neglected by some leaders, therefore, resulting in organizational ineffectiveness and inefficiency It is hypothesized by the conceptual framework below that the level of employee effectiveness and efficiency is influenced by some Leadership/Management Factors. Thus, this paper aimed to study some leadership/management factors regarding human resource management as shown in the conceptual framework of the study displayed below and how they affect organizations in optimizing employeeeffectiveness and efficiency. This study is quantitative and will adopta descriptive survey design to enable the researcher to investigate the relationship between the variables in this study.The study will be conducted in fivefaith-based organisations in Kenya as the sample population to examine the factors mitigating employee performance in the selected organizations. To keep the anonymity of the organizations as part of the ethical consideration, the identity of the specific respondent organizations will not be revealed in the paper. A letter code will be used instead.Based on the findings, appropriate recommendations would be made to assist the organizations to better employee performance.
