Paper Title
FLEXURAL DESIGN OPTIMIZATION OF CONCRETE CROSS–SECTIONS STRENGTHENED WITH FRP LAMINATES

Abstract
The deterioration of concrete structures, often accelerated by corrosion, presents significant challenges to structural integrity and increases maintenance costs. Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composites provide a promising solution for strengthening and rehabilitating Reinforced Concrete (RC) structures due to their high strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and cost-effectiveness. This paper reviews key flexural design parameters for concrete cross-sections strengthened with FRP laminates, following guidelines from ACI 440.2R-17.
