Abstract
Problem Statement In the face of increasing global uncertainties, supply chain resilience has become a significant concern for businesses. This study aims to investigate the impact of employee training, a key Human Resource Management (HRM) practice, on enhancing supply chain resilience and mitigating risk uncertainty. Methods The study will employ a mixed-methods approach, this study will combine quantitative data analysis with qualitative research methodologies. It aims to delve into the correlation between employee training and the resilience of the supply chain will be explored, focusing on how such training can foster adaptability and robustness in supply chain operations. Results While the research is ongoing, it is hypothesised that well-trained employees are better equipped to handle disruptions, make informed decisions under pressure, and adapt to changing circumstances. Moreover, these training programs are expected to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, which is paramount for ensuring resilience in the supply chain. Conclusion The research will provide valuable insights into how businesses can leverage HRM practices, particularly employee training, to enhance supply chain resilience and navigate risk uncertainty. The findings could inform HRM strategies and contribute to the literature on supply chain resilience.
