The Effect of Green Human Resource Management Practices on Sustainable Performance: Examining the Role of Work Engagement.

Abstract
The current study aims at examining the direct effect of green human resource management practices (GHRM) on sustainable performance, additionally, the indirect effect via work engagement. A questionnaire form was designed and distributed to a sample of employees of sporting clubs located at Asir region in Saudi Arabia. A sample of employees participated in the survey, 300 forms were distributed while 224 valid forms were received. To analyze the received data, Smart PLS was utilized. It was revealed that GHRM effect on sustainable performance and work engagement was positive and significant, additionally, work engagement affected sustainable performance significantly. Finally, work engagement mediated the relationship between GHRM and sustainable performance.
