Paper Title
Improving Tap Water Quality and Taste with Mineral Extract from Natural Rock -Comparing Water Quality in Developed Countries and Reducing Disinfectant Chlorine

Abstract
This study provides an overview of tap water quality in Japan, comparing it with that of various countries worldwide. Specifically, the composition of cations and anionswas examined, and we conducted numerical comparisons of water hardness and taste across different regions. The data revealed that many areas exhibit nitrate ion concentrations at unsafe levels. Additionally, certain regions were found to have chlorine concentrations for disinfection that exceed the necessary limits. Further experiments were conducted to reduce chlorine disinfectants in tap water using a server equipped with a filtration system and mineral extracts derived from natural rock. The results showed a significant reduction in chlorine levels, as well as an improvement in taste. Specifically, for tap water in several districts in California, USA, the findings indicated that the high concentrations of disinfectant chlorine could be substantially reduced by the application of these minerals.
