Paper Title
A REVIEW OF THE EFFECTS OF ANTI-AGING TREATMENTS WITH A FOCUS ON FOUR COMMON TREATMENTS

Abstract
The use of anti-aging treatments has increased in popularity over the past few years. Some common treatments include injectable materials like artificial fillers and botulinum toxin, and topical vitamin derivatives like retinoids or vitamin C. These products aim to reverse signs of photoaging, the process by which UV rays damage the skin over time, and provide a more youthful appearance. However, photoaging is a complex process which presents itself in multiple ways and cannot be reduced to a single treatment that is effective for everyone. The primary goal of providers is for their patients to be satisfied with the results of their treatment, which is done through personalized treatment. Despite this, patients should still be well-informed on the risks and benefits of different treatments. The aim of this paper is to investigate the risks and benefits of four common anti-aging treatments and provide a general recommendation on which treatment would work best depending on an individual’s goals.
