Paper Title
OSTEOPOROSIS CLASSIFICATION BY USING FEATURE EXTRACTION WITH NEURAL NETWORKS ON X RAY IMAGES

Abstract
Osteoporosis is a disease of adults that can affect both genders. The gold standard technique is bone densitometry, although it is inferred that it can be diagnosed through digital image processing. In this work, image classification methods were implemented and manipulated using artificial intelligencealgorithms. From the public repository kaggle, with X-ray images of healthy patients and patients with osteoporosis, digital image processing techniques such as the use of filters, the use of neural networks for feature extraction, as well as machine learning techniques were developed. An X-ray image classifier obtaining an ACC of 77%. It is concluded that it is a result with potential since osteoporosis has been diagnosed in a human knee. Keywords - Osteoporosis. Classification.
