Paper Title
Lean Manufacturing Model to Increase Productivity in a Textile-Clothing SME. A Case Study

Abstract
The main objective of this research was to increase productivity in the t-shirt manufacturing area of a micro and small enterprise (SME) in the textile sector, to enhance labor efficiency, and to reduce the presence of defective finished products. To this end, an applied and experimental improvement design was used, employing Lean 5S and Kanban tools, following the diagnosis of the bottleneck activity with the VSM tool. After implementing the proposal, it was possible to improve productivity by 11%, labor efficiency by 6.32%, and reduce defective t-shirts by 30%. This required the use of 9 Kanban production cards in the system, which allowed for the reorganization of operators at the stations as needed.
